Supporting Our Veterans: VA Hospital Donations at Redeemer Lutheran Church
Redeemer Lutheran Church and School warmly invites our congregation, school families, and Salt Lake City neighbors to participate in our ongoing VA Hospital Donations ministry. This meaningful opportunity allows us to express gratitude to the men and women who have served our country while offering practical assistance to veterans in need. Through simple gifts of clothing, personal necessities, recreational supplies, and other useful items, we can share Christian compassion with those who have sacrificed in service to others.
Serving Veterans in Salt Lake City Through Christian Mercy
As a confessional Lutheran church in Salt Lake City, Redeemer understands acts of mercy as a grateful response to the love and forgiveness we have received through Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches us to love our neighbors, honor others, and care for those who are experiencing hardship. Our VA Hospital Donations ministry provides an opportunity to demonstrate that care through thoughtful gifts that meet real needs.
The VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System serves veterans, their families, and caregivers throughout our region. Redeemer is grateful for the opportunity to collect requested items for the VA Hospital Complex and encourage our community to participate. Whether you contribute one item or several, each donation is a simple expression of kindness and appreciation.

Join Redeemer in Showing Gratitude and Compassion
Christian service begins with the recognition that everything we have is a gift from our gracious heavenly Father. We do not serve to earn God’s favor, but because Christ has first loved and served us. Through small acts of generosity, we have the privilege of caring for our neighbors and expressing gratitude to our veterans.
We invite families throughout Salt Lake City, Sugar House, Millcreek, and Highland Park to join Redeemer Lutheran Church and School (LCMS) in supporting this important effort. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve. Together as ONE Redeemer, we are blessed to be a blessing!
