A Fall Golf Event Supporting Kids
The Fore the Kids Golf Tournament is planned as a fall event this year, giving golfers and supporters a chance to gather for fellowship, friendly competition, and a good cause. The tournament is expected to begin with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start, though the final format may depend on the number of participants. If needed, the event may shift to a tee time tournament, but either way, it promises to be a fun and worthwhile day. This is a great time to begin forming your foursome. Groups may be all male, all female, or mixed, and golfers of various skill levels are welcome to participate. The tournament is usually played in a scramble format, which helps make the day enjoyable for both experienced golfers and those who simply want to come out, support the cause, and have fun.

What Is a Scramble Format?
In a scramble format, each player in the group takes a shot, and the team chooses the best shot from among the group. Everyone then plays from that spot, and the process continues throughout the hole. This format encourages teamwork, keeps the game moving, and gives every group several chances to make a good play on each shot.
Golf, Lunch, and Fellowship
The cost per player is still to be announced, but it will likely be around $125 per golfer, with some optional activities available on the day of the tournament. The entry fee is expected to include golf, cart, and lunch. Prince of Peace is organizing the tournament again this year, and we are grateful for the work being done to make this event possible. Beyond the golf itself, this tournament is about fellowship and support. Events like this bring people together around a shared purpose and help strengthen the community that surrounds our children and schools. It is a chance to enjoy a beautiful course, encourage one another, and contribute to something that blesses young people.
How You Can Help the School
We will need many golfers to make this tournament a success. Please consider signing up, inviting friends, and forming a foursome now. This is also a great opportunity to invite neighbors, coworkers, extended family, and others who may enjoy supporting children through a fun community golf event. Gift donations will also be needed for raffle drawings or prizes. These donations help add excitement to the day and provide more ways for participants to support the event. If you or your business would like to contribute a prize, gift card, basket, or other donation, your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
