Vacation Bible School at Redeemer in Salt Lake City
Redeemer Lutheran Church and School warmly invites families to join us for Vacation Bible School in Salt Lake City. VBS is a joyful week where children can hear Bible stories, sing, play, create, and grow in friendship within a caring Christian community. Christian VBS in Salt Lake City
This year’s Vacation Bible School at Redeemer Lutheran Church and School will be held June 15–19, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $100 per participant, and VBS is open to children entering Kindergarten through those entering Grade 6. It is a faith-filled week where children are welcomed, encouraged, and taught the good news of Jesus Christ in a setting designed for learning and joy. At Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, we are thankful to serve children and families through worship, Christian education, and community life centered in Christ.
A Fun and Faith-Filled Week for Children
The week will be a day camp of activities led by Camp Perkins. Children will enjoy a full schedule of learning, movement, games, crafts, songs, and Bible teaching. Each child should bring a lunch and water bottle every day, and snacks will be provided twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Who Can Attend VBS?
Vacation Bible School is for children entering Kindergarten through those entering Grade 6. Families from Salt Lake City, Sugar House, Millcreek, Highland Park, and nearby communities are welcome to participate. Whether you are already part of Redeemer Lutheran Church and School or are visiting for the first time, we would be glad to welcome your child to VBS.
What Children Can Expect
Children can expect a warm, organized, and caring environment throughout the week. VBS gives children time to learn from God’s Word, build friendships, enjoy creative activities, and experience the joy of Christian community. Redeemer Lutheran Church and School desires to support families by helping children grow in faith, confidence, kindness, and love for their neighbor.
Volunteers Are Welcome
Redeemer is also inviting volunteers to help make Vacation Bible School a blessing for everyone involved. Volunteers from Grade 7 through adults are needed and desired. This is a meaningful way for older students, parents, church members, and friends of Redeemer to serve children and support a joyful Christian VBS in Salt Lake City. There are also practical ways to support the week through snacks, meals, hospitality, and other helpful service. Every volunteer helps make VBS welcoming, safe, organized, and encouraging for the children who attend. Redeemer is grateful for the many people who help our church and school serve families with care and joy.
